Does Lume Deodorant control sweat?
Lume is aluminum free, therefore, not an antiperspirant. Sweating is natural and necessary but doesn’t have to lead to odor. While Lume contains ingredients that help to absorb wetness, it does not prevent perspiration.
Does Lume Deoodrant stain clothing?
No. Lume’s cream and solid deodorants do not leave stains on clothing and will wash out easily with normal laundering. Our deodorant is aluminum free, which means the pits of your favorite white shirts won’t yellow over time.
Is Lume Deodorant edible?
While Lume is non-toxic, it is not considered edible and has an acidic taste. We recommend applying a trace amount to clean, dry skin a few times a week rather than immediately before intimacy. No need to wash off prior to intercourse or oral sex.
Are Lume products safe to use during pregnancy & while breastfeeding?

The quality of this stuff is amazing! Wipe everything about smell away. I pretty much live outdoors and things get a little musty sometimes but this stuff right here changed the WHOLE GAME! I keep it on me!
I was looking for a less harsh type of deodorant without aluminum etc, was using secret. I accidentally got the cream vs the solid stick. Don't like the cream too much it stays wet for a few minutes and is messy. It has helped with my skin darkening. The smell is very grandma lol would recommend unscented. Works for everyday wear but doesn't hold up that great when very active. Will try the solid unscented stick in the future
I really like the tangerine sent. Got unscented too and not a fan. I also bought some sweat control and I don't like it as well. I also emptied a regular roll on container and put the sweat control in it and it works well to apply. Dont like the tubes at all. Lasts a long time. I have never had a problem with sweating or smelling until menopause. Holly cow! I barely move and I'm sweating. And stink?! I tried everything! This works! Had to get used to being wet but I do not smell! I have ordered several times now.
Am I the only one that liked this SO much better before they changed the formula?? For years, I've been using Lume now.. it was one natural deodorant I found that didn't irritate my underarms, and that made me smell amazing the whole day long, without also staining my clothes and underarms, like regular deodorant does. It was expensive, but I found myself not even caring about the price anymore, because I couldnt imagine a different deodorant. Also...it does last for awhile :-)Imagine my disappointment, when the last batch of deodorant I got (a different scent;) was a completely different formula. Like, it is a stick deodorant now, instead of a cream. The cream used to dissolve into my underarm, and then there were no problems the rest of the day.This new stick deodorant...causes a complete mess, every time I try to close the lid. The stick smears outside the lid. No matter what, it's simply a mess.But add to that...it now stains my clothes, just like the regular deodorants. Imagine my chagrin when I took of my new, expensive red linen dress, which was supposed to last me years. To see the underarms stained from the new deodorant.How horrifying.Thankfully, I washed it out.But ever since then, i found the best solution is to dab my underarms with a paper towel, so no excess deodorant will come off on my clothes.I used to do that with normal deodorant, too. But I thought I had found a brand that fixed that problem.I prefer to be able to just put on my deodorant, and go...not have to wipe it off so it doesn't stain my clothes.But anyway.I can see many other customers like it better this way.And I understand, you have to make what your customers want, in general.But I was in love with the old style of it.The new style is just a mess, for me.And I'm gonna have to start looking for a new deodorant, sadly:-/I will say tho...I enjoyed your deodorant for all those years, and one thing I did love, and which still remains about it, are the fantastic scents. They smell real...not chemically. I will start with saying that I bought the unscented invisible cream version and it definitely does the job. Yes, I use it down there, and all I can say is it works after a sweaty workout. You are not stinky. It also does not come off on your clothes. It is an excellent product.That being said, I don't know if the other scents have the smell problem of the unscented. When you first open it and are going to apply it, for me the smell is just gross. Someone called it a medicine smell, but it is stronger than that. It is almost like a really strong citric acid kind of smell. I can't put the smell into exact words, just that it is unpleasant. It goes away within a few minutes as it absorbs into your skin, but it is enough to make me not buy the unscented version again. I hope they fix that because I do not typically wear a lot of scents. I will try one of the other scents and hope that it does not have the same issue.
If you're going back and forth trying to decide if you want to spend the money and try out-- JUST DO IT-- YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!! It lasts longer than you would think, and smells great! 🥰
There is a product odor when applying the product but it dissipates after it's absorbed. Once on there is no odor through out the day.
You won't regret spending the extra money on this deodorant. It works great and at the end of a warm day I am still unscented ! The cream also works great and even though like other reviews say the scent is not great, there is no scent once you rub it in. It doesn't smell bad, it's just not scented like you'd expect. It's worth a try and I wish I found this product when I was younger. Worth the price for sure!
The deodorant lasts for days. The last purchase of the roll on came out as a creamy lotion. I prefer to use it out of the tube in that consistency. I feel a lot ends up wasted in the traditional deoderant applicator.
I love this deodrant!! The scent was a little strong at first but as I continued to apply, the scent lessoned. My first application is seemed the coconut scent was strong throughout the day but it has sense toned down. From the reviews the original scent smelt like medicine so I chose the coconut which I love. No skin reaction and it last all day long. I walk quite a bit and this deodrant will hold you! My husband is now considering this brand but for the men of course. It doesn't stain your clothes and you don't have to apply much to get the full effect of the deodrant to work. I love, love, LOVE this brand and will continue to purchase!! Finally, a deodrant aluminum free and a lasting hold. Thanks Lume!!
I just recently started walking, which compounded my foot odor problem. I was ashamed to take my shoes off in somebody else's house. Now, with an application of Lume each morning, I can remove my shoes after work and nobody in my family even notices! What a wonderful difference!The cream doesn't take long to seep into my skin, no uncomfortable feeling, and now my shoes don't stink either!! I am one very happy customer. I'll be back!!
Lume is the best thing that hit the market, I love it, the bodywash I use to shave my legs you do not have to use a lot it's so smooth. The deodorant hands down amazing. I thought no way about this Lume product But YES way it works hand down.
