I am a 65 y/o female with adult acne. I've been using the Proactiv for over 2 weeks now and it's doing a good job of controlling the acne. One thing I noticed many years ago is that dairy makes my face break out in painful red bumps. How do I know that? Because I stopped drinking milk once for many months. Then tried it again, and boom, zits. It happens every time I ingest milk. I haven't had a glass of milk in years, but I'll use it in mashed potatoes and that's enough to trigger the acne. I can tolerate cheese. Maybe it has something to do with the aging process of cheese. Sour cream and milk seem to be the worst irritants.People, stop buying into the B.S. that you must drink milk to get your protein. Milk is for baby cows! Why do humans drink another mammal's milk? It's gross if you think about it. Besides, that junk in the carton doesn't even come close to what comes out of the cow. It's so highly processed and stripped of all things natural and amped up with all kinds of man-made chemicals. Just search for 'foods with protein other than milk' to find different ways to get protein.Also, resting the palms of my hands on my cheeks and chin while I'm on the computer will cause those areas to break out due to bacteria on my hands.Now, onto the 'make sure you don't...' part. Benzoyl peroxide is an oxidizing agent that possesses antibacterial properties. About the oxidizing part. Make sure you don't get it on any fabric that you value like clothes or your good wash cloths or towels when you're washing your face. If at all possible, use the cleanser in the shower. Here's what I did. I put the cleanser on my face and then gently washed with a soft wash cloth. I rinsed the wash cloth out several times and I wiped all the cleanser off my skin. The next day I noticed that the wash cloth was bleached out, even after repeated rinsing.In closing, if you eat/drink dairy, stop doing it for a couple of weeks and see if your skin clears up. The Proactiv can't do its magic if you keep ingesting things that cause your face to break out. No amount of water will put out a fire if you keep throwing gas on it.
Nothing beats proactive. It works wonders
The listing and photo are misleading. The sizes of all 3 bottles are "travel size". Steps 1 and 2 are 2 oz. bottles, and step 3 is 1 oz. I didn't see that in the listing, so I assumed they were all full size bottles. I'm keeping them because I can actually use them to travel, but I still feel duped.
Purchased for family member and bought 90 day to get good start. Keep on schedule and you will see improvement. Proactive has been around for a long time now and should have made enough 💰
Proactive is the only thing that does not cause breakouts on my skin.

This skin is soft and kissable now just as a mom would want it but my oldest is now wearing a mustache and sideburns
It really gets the dirt deep down underneath your skin. Highly recommend this product. Been using for a couple months now and been seen progress. After 2 to 3 weeks you start to see a difference.

Uso estos productos hace muchos años. No los uso por más de 6 meses. Los alternó con otros productos. El otro kit me a resultado para mi acné hormonal es el debla la Rosheposay . Por qué los alterno por qué me dejan de trabajar si los uso por mas de un año. Esa ha sido mi experiencia. Cuando uno busca comprar productos para la piel , no todo funciona igual en tod@s. Los más importante es observar y lo que funciona no cambiarlo más bien alternarlo o dejar la piel descansar por algún tiempo. El tamaño no es el grande tengan en cuenta pero si es suficiente para saber si les funcionará. Son productos que pueden resecar la piel e irritarla, deben observar cómo se comparta la piel y reducir el uso o alternar los días de uso o elegir los productos que sean para piel sensible. Esta marca tiene una línea para pieles sensibles.
