Does Lume Deodorant control sweat?
Lume is aluminum free, therefore, not an antiperspirant. Sweating is natural and necessary but doesn’t have to lead to odor. While Lume contains ingredients that help to absorb wetness, it does not prevent perspiration.
Does Lume Deoodrant stain clothing?
No. Lume’s cream and solid deodorants do not leave stains on clothing and will wash out easily with normal laundering. Our deodorant is aluminum free, which means the pits of your favorite white shirts won’t yellow over time.
Is Lume Deodorant edible?
While Lume is non-toxic, it is not considered edible and has an acidic taste. We recommend applying a trace amount to clean, dry skin a few times a week rather than immediately before intimacy. No need to wash off prior to intercourse or oral sex.
Are Lume products safe to use during pregnancy & while breastfeeding?

This product made seriously changed my routine! I'm larger girly that is prone to sweating very easily and I get sweaty everywhere. This has chcanhed the game. I'm left feeling fresh all over, even my intimate areas. I Dont use the product internally but inner thighs and surrounding areas does the trick. It has no effect on my skin, doesn't not make me itchy. A pea size amount goes a long way. I was skeptical because the bottle feels small when you get it but I had a bottle last me from October of 2023 until now when paired with stick deodorant. Its not sticky, feels like a creamy lotion. The quality is fantastic, it lasts all day. I have the lavender scent and it smells wonderful! Very easy to use, I just rub it in to the area I want to apply it to and done!
I bought this product on a whim and on a wild hair notion and chance that it might actually work. After trying a multitude of other deodorant products in an attempt to escape the traditional ones that I have spent my life using, I think I finally have found the answer and the end of the quest. Not only does Lume work it works exactly as its advertisement's suggest. I have to admit that I am totally blown away by its effectiveness and the fact that it does last up to 72 hours. I also have to confess that I am a man using this product and I made a conscious decision not to buy the other product that was formulated for men. Over the years I have learned a thing or two from the ladies especially where skin and hair care products are concerned. Usually what works for them works perfectly for me and my sensitive skin. It's taken me a few years to realize that and once you discover you are not sacrificing your "man card" by using products designed by and for women a whole new world opens up. With that said it must be proclaimed that the scenting with this product is very mild and delicate to almost non-existent. I bought the lavender scent which I found to be very organic, natural and reminiscent of the accuracy that essential oils tend to have. Once applied this scent totally disappears right along with your body odor. I am very active, I work out regularly and work in my yard. I sweat profusely and live in Texas where high temperatures and humidity are the norm. Lume works for me and it fills a need that I have been searching a long time for. Body odor is just another fact of life which varies with the individual, body chemistry, diet and lifestyle that we all have. This product is a game changer for me because I am no longer annoyed by my own body smell during the work day and between showers. Yes it is a somewhat pricey product but considering the small amounts needed a tube of this should last a long time. I would give this an extra star or two if I could. This is an awesome product and thank you Lume for making this possible.

The texture is very cool it's thick but it's not too creamy but it feels creamy and thick. I don't know how to explain it it's really cool where ever you put this you're not gonna sweat and it's not gonna stink that's the main objective is the sweating part right? I mean come on let's get real that's the point now!!, everybody's different I know some people can't even use regular deodorant because sweating so much that's why they have different products for that but this one works for me I use suave, cocoa butter sheer deodorant, so I tried the regular lume deodorant for the whole body five stars I would give it 10 stars I did not have a rash. I did not sweat now I don't know about if i had a bad smell because I take showers so much but I went on the farm to work. I was sweating my butt off, but no sweating where I put the lotion deodorant at first time I have never had that issue before and it was amazing. why did someone now just make this? This is like literally magic in a bottle. We've all wanted it for years for years and finally someone has done. It doesn't mess with your pH. You have no yeast infections from this product. It's literally like magic no more sweating in the folds of anything*****(now i start talking about my personal body if u would like stop here and try lume out go for it, it really don't matter what smell you picked because you're going to wear perfume over it, so it really don't matter now if u need more knowledge then sure go ahead n read at ur own rick TMI)I can actually clean the house and not worry if I'm going to get (TMI), a rash under my boobs because after two kids and breast-feeding with the kids being like 1 1/2 of age they have wore these girls out so yeah I know I screwed up breast-feeding too long. I know that but you know you get chafe in places you don't like you start getting itchy because of all the sweat I mean this product is freaking gold. It's just I'm flabbergasted on how great this product works without having such of one pH issues because I can't use sprays or soaps it literally screws up my pH levels so I can't use any summer eve, products for example, I cannot use any of their stuff because it will no joke Give me a yeast infection only one time years and it's because I'm too sensitive. My pH level is too sensitive, blah blah blah blah blah I already know why, so I can't use anything because my pH gets so out of whack so easy. I always been like that for years until now and I'm so excited I have told all my girlfriends about it I can even go commando I mean this is freaking awesome when I clean the house that is my biggest issue right there sweating sweating, and places I do not like and then it itches from all the sweat and then you gotta take a freaking shower and it's like OK why doesn't somebody make a deodorant you know!, we have the spray why don't we have a deodorant that stop sweating like we have a gold Bon friction defense for when you wear shorts but why don't we have this and finally someone has done it and I swear I have had two kids I'm over 35 so going down on my way to old age, It is not easy that's for sure specially losing weight! I was at 140lbs and after I had my second child I can't get my weight back down to that..!! and I'm going through testosterone therapy. I mean I am having all kinds of issues and sweating is one of them and this product has solved that issue now using it if you take a lot of showers you're going to have to reapply. It's just like deodorant, so yeah you're gonna go through a lot. Is it worth it 100% it is like this is such a big issue where I'm overweight right now that I am living going to be stocking up on this stuff. This is too good to be true. It's like a dream every woman's well big girls dreams like me.
Yes, they are small, but that does not bother me at all. You don't need much product and this is a perfect way to test each scent and your body reaction to it. I had an unpleasant reaction to the coconut scent. It burned (like it felt my skin was burning). I just used soap and water to remove the product and everything was fine. Had that been the first one that I pulled out of the box and tried, I likely would have just chucked the whole thing out. So it does make sense to get this and if there is one you don't like, don't let that discourage you from trying the others.
Summary:Positives1. It is better for your skin than cheaper alternatives.2. It is not expensive to use because a small amount lasts.3. It can be effective sometimes for 2 days and sometimes for a lot more.Update:4. Applyed it for a jock itch, now it is gone, wow. So much healthier than the medications which actually hurt your skin.Negatives1. Applying it is a little bit involved, and can take a few minutes.2. One needs a special solution to wash the bad smell off of fingers.3. Though the bad smell can be managed, it is still awful to experience such bad smell while applying it.Details:I bought a tube of no scent lume. Mostly because the only scent acceptable to wear for a man: silver spruce, was out at that time. I did read reviews of the horrific smell, but wanted to try it anyway.When I did try it, it was horrific. The smell was unbearable to me. When I would apply it with my fingers, it was getting on my fingers, and my fingers smelled horrible, and the smell would not wash out with water or soap, so I stopped using it.Much later, unhappy with other deodorants, I thought to persevere, and to try it again.I found out that after applying it, you want to keep from putting the shirt on for a few minutes. This is to prevent it from soaking into your shirt. After a few minutes, several things happened: it would 1. Stop smelling horridly under my arms( not much smell at all ), 2. Dry out, so I could put my shirt on. I also found out that the horrid smell on my fingers could be washed away with a soap and a light vinegar and water solution.It all sounds pretty involved, so why is my rating 4 stars, which is a positive rating.Well, 1: alternatives are either bad for your skin or expansive. 2: on the subject of expansiveness, this product is also quite expensive. But I use the tiniest amount of it, and it does it's job well, so it actually lasts a while. 3: how well does it actually work? I found out that in the summer, when I tend to sweat more, it is effective for maybe a day and a half, possibly 2 days. But in the winter, when I don't sweat too much, it can last a week or more. I had a minor medical procedure, and could not shower for a week, and it was still working. I was rather surprised. But as soon as I washed, my BO was back as strong as ever, sorry for that imagery. I purchased this with some skepticism. I mean really it takes care of all smells??? Well it does work and I am really digging it. As for the odor of the cream itself....yeah not the most pleasant, but not as bad as some may have described it. I really like this sample pack because it allowed me to try the different scents. My take is the no scent one gives out the most "rubber bandish odor". The scented ones, coconut being the best to me, are better. Don't take my word for it, try the sample packet and decide for yourself. I will buy the coconut scent moving forward. Don't hate it until you try it,
I have sensitive skin, so I was worried if I would have a reaction to any of the scented lotion (luckily I did not).I knew the bottles were going to be small when I bought this, and I was ok with that, because I was going use up every sample regardless on if I liked the scent or not. Since a little dab will do it, I have managed to make this sample pack last going on a month.That being said, I found my favorites to be the Rose Peon and the Clean Tangerine. The Coconut was too strong (gave that to a friend who like it and wanted smaller version) and apparently the Lavendar Sage gave me heart burn when I used under my chest (go fig).
After a breast cancer scare I purchased this to avoid dangerous chemicals.i(n the unscented so I could wear perfume if I wanted to. )I used it for a year and noticed that at least for me if I shower and put it on the next day I apply a little more on top. This seems to keep odor away. I do use more than a pea size amount. I ordered the toasted coconut because it was on sale and it was okay to try something new. LOVE this scent. Don't want or need perfume I smell like coconut cream pie. When people hug me they say "You smell so good!" Unscented is lovely if you have a signature scent it will not interfere. I love this product for the safety it provides (protect the girls ya'll) and LOVE the light but lasting scent loved by all who hug. SMELL LESS HUG MORE buy it!
I returned it when i saw that you have to wear sunscreen after using. (Sunburn alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun. Use a sunscreen while using this product and for a week afterward.)I usually wear sunscreen, but sometimes I don't because time in the sun is short. I don't like now having to wear it all the time or worry about burning. I mean, i would want a deodorant when outdoors... in the sun.... I don't understand why they added AHA .
I waited a little bit after purchasing to leave a review so I could put the product to use. I am one of those women that sweats like a man. Women's deodorant worked for a little while but it's like my body would get used to it and it would stop working. It got to the point where I started using my husbands deodorant because it seemed to work better. My son plays travel baseball and anyone that knows anything about travel baseball we are in the sun all weekend. We live in SC so the heat and humidity is no joke. With that being said I put the Lume whole body deodorant to work this weekend no tent no fan to keep me cool and y'all I didn't leave the ball field stinking! My arm pits smelt exactly like they did when I applied the product if not better! So far I have tried the toasted coconut scent and the clean tangerine and I love them both! I recommend buying this sample size so you can figure out which scent you prefer and if the product works for you. ( which it will!)
I've been using Lume coconut for a little bit now and I'm not quite sure how I feel about it yet. It does have a kind of weird smell at first, I think it smells a little like stinky feet. The smell does go away after a few mins unless you put too much on, then it hangs around. I put it on right after a shower and let it dry. It does keep your pits odor free for about 24 - 26 ish hours. Its def not 72 hours though. If I'm somewhere I don't want to sweat so the underarm area of your shirt doesn't get wet, I put an anti-perspirant over it. I like being odor free and dry. Lume does not do both. We'll see how it holds up once the AZ summer hits and then I'll decide.
Please make sure you read the description so you won't think you're getting 2 for a cheap price! I saw two tube's in the advertisement and thought the price was a great deal for two. Lol ....NOPE! I love Lume and would have given it 5 stars if it weren't so pricey for such a small tube.
