First and foremost, the G1 MAX has a sleek and modern design that looks and feels great in the hand. Its 6.52" HD+ display is sharp and vibrant, and the night mode feature is a nice touch that makes using the phone in low-light conditions much easier on the eyes.Performance-wise, the G1 MAX is a powerhouse. Its dual sim 4G LTE capabilities mean you can stay connected wherever you are, and the 5150mAh battery ensures that you'll have plenty of juice to get through the day. The phone's 128GB/256GB expandable storage is also a huge plus, allowing you to store all your photos, videos, and apps without worrying about running out of space. One of the things I appreciate most about the G1 MAX is how easy it is to use. The Android 12 operating system is intuitive and user-friendly, and the phone's GSM unlocked status means that you can use it with any carrier of your choice. Plus, the phone comes with a number of helpful features, like a fingerprint sensor and face unlock, that make unlocking your phone quick and easy.Overall, I highly recommend the UMIDIGI Cell Phone G1 MAX to anyone in the market for a high-quality smartphone that won't break the bank. Its combination of sleek design, powerful performance, and user-friendly features make it a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable and affordable smartphone.

The media could not be loaded.  This is $140 at the time of making this review, not a expensive phone so keep that in mind. Build quality is really good and you will feel more heft once a rugged case is on but by himself the phone is really light, it comes with a pre applied screen protector and basic clear case, response navigating and consuming media is decent to good, camera takes good pictures but pauses about a second when switching modes, fully compatible with Google services, Android 12 from the box, screen looks really nice but not enough for direct sunlight. This is a great entry level phone for young ones or if you are looking for something that won't break your wallet but functional. A real competitor against major brands in the entry level and I am happy to give it a chance, not disappointed. Note: take a look at me messing around with video editing software, think I made an ok job :)

This is a great phone that can't be beat for the price. It is a plastic shell with two separate buttons for the volume, and a fingerprint reader built into the side power button. It comes with a clear case and screen protector installed already, but if you're accident prone like I am I recommend getting a better one. It also comes with a USB cable and charging block. The Networks/Bands it covers is on the back of the box which is pictured with my review. It comes with stock Android 12 so you don't need to worry about bloatware or trying to root it to remove everything or to customize your phone as you like it. It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB for storage which can be expanded with a microSD card. That was plenty for everything from web browsing (even with all my tabs) to social media to streaming and even gaming without any problems. It has a 50 + 2 MP rear camera that captures images very well in light, and a 2 LED flash. It lacks Optical Image Stablization though, so if you are active and really like taking photos with your camera this may not be for you. It has a very vibrant LCD screen that can't compete with an OLED but is still great for streaming or gaming. As far as apps and games I've tested, it ran Call of Duty and Genshin Impact without any problems as well as apps like Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Express Photoshop, and Nomad Sculpt. It could also emulator up to PS2 and GameCube/Wii without any problems and of the games I tested they all ran pretty well.tl;drThis is a great phone for every day use, light gaming, and streaming. It isn't for avid photographers or people who need NFC.

Umidigi G1 Max Review: A Budget Phone with Impressive Specs: I ordered this phone directly from Umidigi and received it very quickly, I have been using the device for almost a month now and wanted to leave a review to share my thoughts along with some benchmark scores from ANTUTU testing. The Umidigi G1 Max is a mid-range smartphone that offers some impressive features for its price. It has a large 6.52-inch IPS display, a 50MP main camera, a 5150mAh battery, and runs on Android 12. It also comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB with a microSD card. The phone is powered by the Unisoc Tiger T610 octa-core processor, which delivers decent performance and efficiency. All setup and app operations were performed smoothly and without and issues. I experienced no crashes or other negative performance issues throughout my time using this device.ProsThe Umidigi G1 Max has a sleek and stylish design, with a right-angle frame and a glossy back. It comes in two colors: Galaxy Blue and Starry Black. I received the Galaxy Blue and found this finish to be really quality and not a fingerprint magnet. Also Super Bonus, the device was delivered with a case which is awesome! The phone has a large and immersive display, with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a waterdrop notch. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, which is adequate for watching videos and browsing the web.The phone has a powerful 50MP main camera, which can capture detailed and vivid photos in various scenarios. It also has a 2MP depth camera for portrait mode, and an 8MP selfie camera. The phone supports night mode, HDR, panorama, and 1080p video recording. I had no issues watching videos or editing photos all were done with speed and ease. The phone has a massive 5150mAh battery, which can last for more than a day of moderate use. It also supports fast charging with a 10W charger included in the box. - I never had an issue with the battery running out before a full day of use which I cannot say the same for other devices I have used lately. The phone runs on Android 12, which offers enhanced privacy features, dynamic personalization, and faster app startup. The phone also has minimal bloatware and offers a smooth user experience. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock, which are fast and convenient to use. It also has other sensors such as accelerometer, proximity, and compass. The phone supports global bands, dual SIM, dual standby, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, and USB Type-C. It does not have NFC though.ConsThe Umidigi G1 Max has a low screen resolution compared to other phones in its price range. It also has thick bezels around the display, which reduce the screen-to-body ratio. The phone does not have a dedicated microSD slot, but uses a hybrid SIM slot instead. This means that users have to choose between dual SIM or extra storage. The phone does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack, which may disappoint some users who prefer wired headphones. It also does not have stereo speakers or Dolby Atmos support.ConclusionThe Umidigi G1 Max is a budget-friendly smartphone that offers some impressive specs for its price. It has a large display, a powerful camera, a huge battery, and Android 12. It also has ample RAM and storage space, and supports global bands. All around a great device that checks in much higher performance wise than the low price tag would otherwise indicate!!

First, I have to say, I have a bit of a Umidigi problem. I have many of their devices. Keep in mind the whole time you read this, this phone is currently $120.00. That's it. $120 bucks. I like to play certain walking games that eat alot of battery on these devices. They just work. No lag, no problems. This device has 6gb of ram, 128gb built in, plus expandable storage. Charges thru usb-c. Oh, and it has a headphone jack. Remember those ? This was my first Umidigi without a Mediatek processor. It uses an Unisoc. While this isn't my first choice if you intend to root, it held up and so far has been smooth sailing. As far as this device, at this price point, it really depends what you need a smartphone for. If you want to play games, browse social media, etc I have not found anything negative to complain about. Its quick and snappy. Just keep in mind, $120. You're not going to get wireless charging, or 120hz refresh rates. But to the average consumer, those things mean nothing anyway. What you will get is a charger in the box, something most manufacturers have taken away. You also get a nice clear TPU case, and a thick screen protector pre installed. I also want to pre-warn, to do your research when I comes to your carrier. Here, in the US, some carriers only allow devices they "whitelist". You can make it work if it's not on the list, but that isn't something the basic consumer will know how to do. So, just make sure the current carrier you're on allows unlocked devices. Like I said, I mainly use mine for data only, and not voice calls. Thank you Umidigi for another great device.

I purchased this phone for my kid to use with Mint Mobile. It worked without any issue. This phone is in the very crowded budget phone group and it stands out in a few things: (1) the battery size: with 5150 mAh battery, it provides very good battery life; (2) RAM/ROM size: 6GB RAM and 128 GB ROM is definitely at the higher end of this group; (3) The dual sim slots provide additional value for who needs it. It also comes with a charger which more and more vendors choose to skip. Overall I think it provides a good value choice.

I received my new Umidigi G1 Max a few days ago and I'm already impressed. It's hard to believe that they can pack so much into a phone at this price. I decided to go with the Galaxy Blue version of the phone to try something other than black for a change. The blue is like the bluest part of the sky on a sunny day so it's a really nice shade of blue and I must say that I really like it. The phone came with a clear silicon case that fits nice and snug with easy access to all the side buttons. I like the way the phone feels in my hand as it allows for a good grip (some phones are too narrow and not comfortable to hold). The first thing I noticed up powering on was the bright and colorful screen as I tend to like bright colors that pop. I let Google load the apps from my account backup and this went quick and seamlessly. Scrolling through the apps was snappy and opening apps was quick with no lag. There is a built in FM radio but it's not headset free, so you have to plug in your earphones for it function (there is a 3mm jack). I have been using the phone all day and I still have plenty of battery life left so I really like not having to worry about a dead battery while out and about. The phone does not have NFC or wireless charging in which I am not surprised about in this price range, but I do hope to see wireless charging in future models from Umidigi as most new vehicles now come with a built-in wireless charging pad. I briefly tried the camera out and yielded vibrant results using HDR. I noticed that the camera has a Night Pro mode, but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. I'm using the phone on T-Mobile (4G) and had no issues upon inserting the sim card. Call quality was nice and crisp without issue. Now, with this being said I must say that there are other phones from Umidigi that will give you more of a punch with tons of features but a phone at this price point was beyond my expectations. I'm a longtime Umidigi customer and this is my fourth phone them as I started out several years ago with the S3 Pro but with the affordable prices I can upgrade to a new phone more often without breaking the bank.

After 2 weeks of testing, I am pleased with the results it delivers. Here are my findings:Pros:- Competitive market price- Large screen and clear display- Camera Performance- Comfortable yet sturdy in hand- Ease of use and UI Layout- Battery life- Fingerprint sensor location- Included accessories (Sim remover, Phone case, Type-C charger)- Overall design and color schemeCons:- No screen protector includedNB: I'm hoping this device will support continuous OTA Andriod updates to remain relevant throughout it's lifetime. The Pros outweigh the one con found with this product and I do look forward to the improvements and future support. I'll definitely be keeping UMIDIGI on my list of brands.

The media could not be loaded.  Nice Umidigi phone. The G1 Max is easy to setup, quick response time with 8 core CPU. Graphics are great, sound is good and has plenty of speed and memory. This is my 4th Umidigi phone and the size and feel seems sturdy and well made. Works great on T-Mobile and call quality with WiFi calling I would highly recommend at this price!

I was surprised by the large capacity of the ram, the speed with which you open and use the applications, the number of megapixels of the main camera, all this for an incredible price. The screen appears to be of excellent resolution. I also really liked that the battery has a high capacity, more than 5000mah, it has USBC connector, The fingerprint sensor is on the Home button, and it's very fast. You never cease to be amazed with all great features for the price.

The UMIDIGI G1 MAX is a good value for money Android 12 device that comes with a 5160 mAh battery. The device ships with a screen protector and case. At the time of writing this review the device required a firmware update and that was downloaded and installed OTA. After firmware update the device is still running Android Security Update from October 5 2022.The device has back facing 50MP + 2MP camera and an 8MP front facing camera. Image quality is decent for the price point. The device works well for casual android gaming.

I have been impressed with the quality and price of Umidigi products but had always had an Iphone. I decided to try their phone. It took awhile to get used to an android phone, especially since I am a senior citizen. I was impressed with the phones performance considering it cost a lot less. The camera was a little tricky for me to use. Some times I took good pictures and others were blurry. I think that it was me not knowing what I was doing and not the camera. I would definitely recommend their products. My son perfers Umidigi ear buds to the higher priced ones. So if you want to save a lot of money you should give this phone a try.

I love the color the phone looks awesome! This is my second or third umidigi phone and they haven't disappointed me yet! The quality and value are amazing for the price! Really this should be considered a upper mid tier phone. You don't get this kind of quality performance for so little money from another brand in this class of phone it outperforms my wife's mofo stylus! It's slightly smaller (so slight she thought it was the same size!) but outperforms in every way! I purchased it because as usual her moforola phone (I spent more than doubble on what this one cost) is starting to fail after buying it new 4 months ago! I don't care what tek radar and the idiot blogs tell you about the best phone for the money, the hotest, best camera, blah blah blah! Fact is they get paid to tell you that crap! While they say nothing about the real best value brands! Really it is appalling how they tell you how great it is then you have it for 3 months after spending hundreds on it and it's a pice of crap! I want to say thanks to moforola and nookia for making the worst phones I have ever purchased and will never buy again! I will be buying another umidigi product 1. They last for years not months 2. They have more features and power for far less! Heck my Umidigi power 3 fell off a gantry crane I was up working on! As I said noooo it bounced landed as I came down on the boom expecting the worst it was fine! Me my boss and helper were amazed it was a freak of luck or was it!?! All I know is I used that phone for over a year after that incident I finally had to upgrade to a new phone. I still tell that story when someone sees me with a umidigi phone! And they think I'm lieing but want to see the phone!

The Umidigi G1 Max was a replacement from my previous phone which had outdated android 6. The phone is an entry level 4G phone. Starting with the 50MP back camera has good photo capability but for video recording quality on the back camera you only get 480p 30 fps so if you want something that video records at 1080p you need to spend more. The front camera is 8 MP which for me is good enough for selfies. Operating system is Android 12 with a Unisoc 610 processor so you get an above average processor in an entry level phone. Phone runs smoothly. I did notice at firstthat some apps may hang, but after updating and restarting phone no problems. The battery is a large 5150mAh battery so it will last a full day with the only drawback being it is only 10W so it will take a little longer to charge...not 18W fast charging. The phone has all of the biometrics stuff and 3.5 mm jack. The speakers are nothing special but not horrible. You can pay games on the phone if they are not super graphic intensive, but the phone is made for surfing the web, making phone calls, taking normal photos and just normal stuff. It is a good replacement phone, but not for creating YouTube, Tik Tok or Instagram content.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this phone to replace my several years old Umidigi F2 that I managed to drop from several feet face down onto gravel and crack the screen. It's in the pictures for reference. So far I'm really liking this phone, it's very fast and snappy for a budget phone. I don't do any gaming or anything so I can't comment on its performance for that.I had no problem getting everything set up and going quick. I do recommend going ahead and doing the updates as soon as you get it.I think the screen looks good, I know it's not the highest resolution but good enough for me.Speakers and call quality were plenty good.Battery last me all day with plenty life left. I charge every night so I don't know exactly how long it would last.I've really liked every Umidigi I've owned. I may not be a "power user" but if you're looking for a good cheap phone I would recommend this one.

This is my 3rd Umidigi Phone. Solid built quality phone all around with really snappy performance. Just want I need. The screen quality is decent. Really true value for your money. The battery size is big enough to last me longer than a day. It comes with Android 12. The user interface is very easy to navigate. Screen is a good standard size - Not too small or big. Although I would want them to curve the back of the phone a bit to make it better feel on the hand. However, with the case on, I was not able to feel any sharp edges. This is a great budget smart device without spending flagship phone prices!

  1. Very nice cellphoneI came with a case and a screen protectorI really recommend it !!

  3. Nice little phone. Been using it for over 2 months with no issues at all. Everything works very well for the money. Only issue I have, I can't buy a case unless it's a gummies case. No other ones made to date as of yet.

  4. First off I have never had a phone where the battery will last all day, this is amazing! The phone works great and takes great photos. The G1 MAX has been a great phone for me. The screen size is great, the phone is responsive and smooth, I love stock Android 12 without bloated add-on software. I am using the dual sim option and it works great. Overall, pretty pleased, and well worth the purchase price.

  5. Great purchase for the price and what it offers. Very good entry phone

Note: take a look at me messing around with video editing software, think I made an ok job 🙂

Works with AT&T and TMobile, and all MVNOs that uses those towers.Note the 4G LTE bands supported:FDD-LTE: B1 /2 /3 /4 /5 /7 /8 /12 /17 /20 /28A /28BTDD-LTE: B38 /40 /41The entire list of AT&T 4G LTE bands are:700 MHz: Bands 12/17/29850 MHz: Band 51900 MHz: Band 21700 MHz /2100 MHz: Bands 4/662300 MHz: Band 30This phone is missing support for Band 29, 30 66. No big deal, I popped in AT&T MVNO sim card, and it works just fine. The entire list of T-Mobile 4G LTE bands are:Band 12 (700 MHz)Band 71 (600 MHz)Band 2 (1900 MHz)Band 5 (850 MHz)Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz)Band 66 (Extension of band 4 on 1700/2100 MHz).This phone is missing support for Band 66 and 71. Again, no big deal here, I was also able to pup in T-Mobile MVNO SIM card, and it works. The phone uses stock Android 12. Umidigi has been in business for several years, and they always supply phones with great value and stock android. None of the boatload of useless apps that Samsung or carriers loads into their phones.Wish the screen was 1080P full HD. But at this low price point, it is understandable that it only have 1600 x 720.I am actually surprised that they are able to pack in 6GB ram and 125GB ROM in this price point.Keep in mind this is a low end budget phone, so don't expect it to play the latest phone games smoothly.5000 mAh battery is more than enough to easily last you a whole day, even if you are a heavy user.Overall, very satisfied.

  9. Recommended budget phone for anyone on a budget.
